Words Correct per Minute (WCPM) vs. Words per Minutes (WPM)

Are you wondering why you see both WCPM and WPM on your progress monitoring tab, how they're calculated or why sometimes you only get one? Wonder no more!

Words Correct per Minute (WCPM) 

This is calculated as Total Words Read Correctly / Total Time Read. On assignments with text uploaded (copy and paste, PDF, web URL, content library), Readlee is able to not only count the number of words that the reader is reading per minute, but also recognize how many of those are correct and how many are incorrect. 

Words per Minute (WPM)

This is calculated as Total Words Read / Total Time Read. WPM is calculated for all assignments. On assignments where there is no text uploaded ( quick reads and independent reading), Readlee listens to the words that are read, counts them and then divides by the total amount of time spent recording the reading.
