Adding Students on Readlee

We have created many ways to add students on Readlee to meet every teachers needs. 

• Manually Add Students
• Import Students from Google or Clever
• Share Class Code/Link with Students

Manually Add Students

1. Choose "Classes" from the top menu. 

2. Choose "Students" from the side menu.

3. Choose "New Student" in the upper right corner.

4. Enter details for the student. 

Pro tip: If they do not have an email or will not be using an email, you can create a username for them. 

5. Add the student to the correct class. 

Pro tip: You can use the class filter at the top of the students page to toggle between your classes. The class icons show you which class(es) each student is in.

Import Students from Google or Clever 

**If you import with Google or Clever Students will not need to sign up for new accounts. They simply need to login at https://app.readlee.com/login with their Google or Clever accounts and they should be good to go!**

1. Choose "Classes" from the top menu. 

2. Choose "Create Class"

3. Choose "Import from Google" or "Import from Clever"

Pro Tip: Be sure that the email you are using on Readlee is the same one connected to your Google or Clever account.

4. Choose the class(es) you'd like to import and click "Import Classes"

5. Select Grade Level and Subject for your class

6. Save Class. Students will not need to sign up for new accounts. They simply need to login at https://app.readlee.com/login with their Google accounts and they should be good to go!

Share a Class Code or Link

1. Choose "Classes" from the top menu. 

2. Choose "Create Class"

3. Manually Create your class by entering the name of the class and choose "Create Class"

4. Select Grade Level and Subject for your class

5. Save Class.

6. You can now share the class link or the class code with your students.

• With the class link, students will be prompted to sign up for Readlee with Google, Clever, or by manually creating a username and password. Once they sign up, they will be added to your class.
  
  
• With the class code, students will need to go to https://app.readlee.com/sign-up, select the "Student" option and enter the class code. They will be prompted to sign up for Readlee with Google, Clever, or by manually creating a username and password. Once they sign up, they will be added to your class.
