Steps to Add Vocabulary Tasks

Step 1: Create a New Assignment

Step 2: From the assignment builder page (shown below) choose "Add Task" in the right hand menu, then click on "Vocabulary".

Step 3: Now you can choose to either click a word in the reading, or type in the word you'd like to define yourself.

Step 4: You can customize our pre-filled definitions to contain what you want your students to see, and even add an image to help increase understanding (the picture is optional).

Step 5: Save the Vocabulary Task

From here you can see that we highlight the vocabulary word in the text, and when students click on the word, it will show the customized scaffolding you created for the word!
