Free Reads - Student Initiated Independent Reading

Readlee is proud to introduce another way for students to practice their literacy! With Free Reads, students can now create their own independent assignments on Readlee so they can continue practicing without teacher's assigning them more content. Check out what's new for teachers and students!

For Students: 

A student can click on "Free Read" from their home screen to read anything, any time!

Readlee does the work to create an independent reading assignment for the student AND a comprehension question that asks the student what they read. Once the student submits their free read, they'll be rewarded by instantly seeing that they have increased their metrics.

For Teachers: 

Teachers can view the submission on the student's progress monitoring page. Click on the submission (labeled "Free Read, Date completed) to view statistics (and transcription with Readlee School) just like any other independent reading you have assigned.
