What are Advanced Analytics?

With Readlee School/District, educators can now access advanced analytics to help them personalize feedback and more effectively differentiate instruction. See below for more details on what's included in our advanced analytics bundle:

Reading Time 

Now know how much time a student was actively reading.

Non-Reading Time

This metric lets you know the amount of time your students were not actively reading (i.e. pauses to mentally sound out words, silence between sentences or even those few minutes they walked away from the computer to finish a household chore). 

Words Assigned

This data point represents the total amount of words assigned in a passage.

Unique Words Assigned

Take the total amount of words and then only count the words that are unique. <-- this sentence has 15 words total and 13 unique words ("the" and "words" were repeated twice).

Correct Words Read

Of the words assigned in the passage, how many of those words did your students read aloud?

Words Added

Did students make substitutions or add in additional words? You'll never have to guess with this advanced data point at your side.

Words Missed

How many words did students skip over or simply not say correctly?

Words Replaced

How many words did students replace with a different or similar-sounding word?

Speed (WPM)

Pace is one of the three foundations of oral reading fluency... know exactly at what pace your students are reading with this metric. 

Accuracy

Ever wonder about what percentage of the passage students are interpreting correctly? Guess no more! The accuracy metric will give you an approximate output for what percentage of the text students pronounced correctly.
